What is a PUBG test server and experimental server

PUBG is a game that constantly adds new elements of gameplay. New maps, game mechanics, weapons, challenges, and more are routine for this type of game. To add these new elements, PUBG needs to first test them before allowing players to use them. If there is a problem, it remains in the test environment and doesn’t impact players and their rankings.

Many apps and even operating systems invite users to test out new versions while they’re still in beta. Apple and Microsoft both give users the option to try beta versions of the next OS build that is about to be released. It allows the companies to crowdsource testing for quality. PUBG follows a similar practice where they have dedicated servers for their beta components. These are the test server and the experimental server.

These servers do not appear in the production build and cannot be accessed from it directly.

PUBG test server

The PUBG test server features game play and mechanics that PUBG is currently developing. This excludes new maps but includes everything else.

The features that you see on a PUBG test server soon become available to users playing on the stable and/or production servers.

PUBG experimental server

The PUBG experimental server is for testing new maps. Maps are an extensive part of the game and therefore, they need to be tested. In addition to stability, the experimental server also gauges how good a map is and what improvements need to be made to it.

The maps that you see on the experimental server will remain there for a long time before they’re added to the production build. Not all maps will be moved to the production build either. Some may remain experimental while others may simply be removed if the developers feel they aren’t good enough for the game.

Conclusion

The test and experimental servers are open to all players that want to try out the new or experimental content. In order to play on them, you need to install a different game client. Playing on the test server will not negatively impact the stats of your main account and game. That said, achievements from the test or experimental servers will not sync to or be added to your main PUBG account. Any experience you gain is in terms of the skills you develop while playing on these servers and nothing else. The servers may not always be stable so

The practice of Kohi Click will train your fingers and brain to click better over time. This means that after some time, you will have a higher CPS rank than when you first started clicking. The CPS Testis a game that determines how many mouse clicks per second you can perform in ten seconds. It’s great for seeing if you can improve your accuracy or efficiency when playing games that require precision, such as Minecraft.
