Spotify Tweaks – Extension Addon To Add New Features
Spotify is no surprise growing at a very fast pace. It is the most popular music service in Europe and the desktop client, simply put, is “Awesome”. But like all other desktop applications it lacks some necessary features which is what brings you to this post. Spotify Tweaks is a simple addon for Spotify that adds additional functionality to the original program. In layman’s term, it acts like Spotify’s extension and adds six new features.
The features in question are Custom Notification(Custom Tooltip), Cover Display, Cover Manager, Advanced Spotify Search, Spotify RSS, and Lyric Search. Apart from these features, it allows user to control Spotify using keyboard shortcuts(hotkeys). Below are some screenshots taken from developer’s page.
This addon is still in beta and you might come across some small bugs. Visit the developer page to view more screenshots and full information on the features.
It works on Windows Vista and Windows 7. For more, have a look at Spotify Recorder which can save songs from Spotify.
