Seven Update – Search For Installed Applications Updates
There are so many things which are recommended to keep your system secure, one of the most important is that you should keep your installed software and applications up-to-date. If your installed applications are constantly updated to the latest releases then you will be the first to test out new features, reduce the risk of infections, etc. Seven Update is a free light-weight tool to check and update the installed applications on Windows 7 and Vista operating system.
On the left sidebar you will see the available options, the Check for Updates option checks for the available updates of the installed applications. The Change Settings option lets you modify the settings of this tool, it also allows you to configure how this tool will check for updates. Beloare some of it’s available options.
- Check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them
- Install updates automatically
- Download updates but let me choose whether to install them
- Never check for updates
The View update history option in the left side bar of Seven Update lets you view the history of the updates.
It works on both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows Vista and windows 7. Enjoy!

This looks promising, but we'll have to wait until software developers support the program checking their site for updates. I have quite a few common programs installed, and the only program it detects is CCleaner like in the screenshot.
