Playlist Creator: Create .pls & .m3u Playlists From Your Music

We know most media players allows user to create a playlist of their favorite music, but this isn’t a quick way to create it. The developers behind Playlist Creator believe creating playlist should be a piece-of-cake. What they have done is to develop a basic app which allows users to create a playlist of their favorite music within seconds.

Currently Playlist Creator supports playlist of two types, .pls and .m3u playlist. So how does it work? Open the program, add your music files. select the output destination, give playlist a name, choose it’s format, finally hit Create and your playlist will be ready.

If you look at the screenshot above you will notice that all music that I have added to the list are in mp3 format. This is mostly because mp3 is the preferred format for music, but Playlist Creator supports more than just mp3 format. Have a look at the File Types Settings screenshot below to see that you can add almost any file type to the playlist.

Since I am using VLC Media Player as my default player, I can open both playlist formats. See the screenshot below to check the playlist file and the VLC Playlist showing all music that I added using Playlist Creator.

  1. How can I add 2 movies to playlist and then, when the first one is almost finishing, the other begins?

  2. I have tried using this, because I want to create a hierarchical set of playlists so I can get the media player in my new car to behave the way I want it to.

I’d really like to be able to add playlists to other playlists, but when you try to do this it just expands the one you are adding into the individual tracks and adds them flat. I want to have playlists reference other playlists.
