How to make a Minecraft stonecutter
In its early days, Minecraft used to have a furnace, a crafting table, an enchantment table, and a brewing stand. Slowly, with new updates, Minecraft has added lots of other ‘tools’ for crafting. These tools either specialize in a particular function or a type of ore.
Minecraft Stonecutter
Minecraft has quite a few stone blocks and they can all be used in more or less the same way. You can use them to build tools and homes. In addition to their block form, you can craft slabs, stairs, buttons, and more.
If you use the crafting table to craft stone block items, you have to follow the recipe for it. For example, you cannot get one stone slab. The crafting table requires three blocks to give six slabs. There is nothing wasted here because each block is split into two slabs but you do end up with six instead of one or two. The stonecutter fixes this problem.

Conclusion
Stone of all types is very common in Minecraft. Getting more stone for anything is hardly a problem. The crafting table will usually give you 2-4 extra items compared to the stonecutter. It’s useful and efficient. You can find stonecutters in villages as well. They’re inside mason houses though not all villages have a mason. You can break a stonecutter down with any type of pickaxe. When broken down, it drops nothing.
