Find Google Meet Outage map
Google itself does not publish an outage map for any of its services. Users can visit the service status page for Google’s products to see if a service is down, but it generally does not tell you which areas/regions are impacted by an outage.
There are lots of unofficial, yet reliable services that track service outages for all sorts of websites. Some of these services will also populate an outage map. The outage map may not be official but the data is mostly reliable.
To view a Google Meet outage map, you can give Downtime Expert a try. The circles on the map indicate areas where Google Meet is experiencing a service outage.
Google Meet outage history
If you want to see historical outage data for Google Meet, visit the Google service status page. Scroll to the very bottom, and click View History. Select a service outage instance and the details will include which regions were impacted by the outage. The regions will be listed and not shown on a map but they do the job.
Conclusion
Google services rarely go down worldwide. The outages are usually partial i.e., only effecting a particular region. That said, the affected region can be large e.g. Asia-Pacific. These outages tend to last a few hours at the most and Google is quick to troubleshoot the problem on their end. If your region has a Google Meet outage, you can try using a VPN and it may connect you to server in a different region however, the quality of the call may suffer. It’s best to wait for the problem to be resolved or temporarily switch to an alternative service.
