Conclusion

If you’ve been using Microsoft Word, the text box tool in Google Docs will seem incredibly basic to you. The text box in Google Docs is an image but it’s an image that you create and can edit within the app. If you look through the editor of a text box i.e., the Drawing box, you will find that you can also insert word art in it. It doesn’t really compare to the same feature in Microsoft Word but it isn’t as basic as it seems either.
