How to cancel a Google Calendar Event
Google Calendar offers smart event invites. You can attach Zoom or Google Meet links to an invite, have invitees RSVP to an event, and you can update the event for everyone and automatically send out the updated invite.

Cancel Google Calendar event

- Open Google Calendar.
- Go to the date on the calendar that the event you want to cancel is on.
- Click the event.
- In the pop-up that opens, click the delete/trash icon.

If you have another method for notifying them, you can use it instead. Any reminders that are set up to be sent before the event starts will not be sent. An event is removed from the ‘Bin’ after thirty days. You have as much time to restore a deleted event if you want.

If you’ve mistakenly deleted a Google Calendar event, you can easily recover it. To recover it, follow these steps.
- Open Google Calendar.
- Click the settings/gear icon.
- Select Bin from the menu.
- Hover over the event you want to restore.
- Click the restore/arrow button to restore the event.
