How to record a Zoom meeting
Zoom meetings can be attended by anyone. A user does not necessarily need to have a Zoom account in order to join a meeting but having an account gives a user access to more advanced Zoom features such as scheduling meetings, recording them, and accessing the recorded meeting.
Record Zoom meeting
Zoom has a native recording feature however, in order to use it, the user looking to record the meeting must have the desktop app installed. The Zoom web app and the Zoom mobile apps cannot record a meeting. Participants that have joined from either the web app or the mobile apps can be recorded.

The meetings are recorded and saved in MP4 format. The file is converted only after a meeting ends since a user is allowed to stop or pause the recording at any point. If you have a paid Zoom account, you can save the recording to the cloud and share it with other participants. Recordings include audio and any screens that have been shared.
