How to make a Microsoft Teams test call

Apps that you can use to make audio or video calls need to connect with the hardware on your system to make these calls. Before you try to make a call, it’s always a good idea to make sure the app you’re using is able to connect with your hardware. This includes making sure your mic is working and you can hear incoming audio.

Many audio/video calling apps have a test call feature that you can use to initiate a call to an online bot. You can check if you’re mic is detected, if you can hear the bot talking, and if the camera works or not.
