How to join Microsoft Teams meeting as a guest
Microsoft Teams are normally for people who are all part of the same organization. It does have room for people from outside the organization though. Any time a team (or a team member) needs to work with someone outside the organization (or team), they can be invited as guests.
Guests have limited access within a team but they can join meetings and send messages over certain team channels. In order to join a Microsoft Teams meeting as a guest, you must first be invited and the invite has to be accepted.

Click the Join button to join the meeting.
Conclusion
A guest member in a team has limited access within the team but joining meetings is fairly basic. You should be able to join the meeting by just clicking on the button however if you’re having trouble, the first thing you should do is let the team admin (or the person who invited you) know. It is likely a problem with settings for guest members and can be resolved from the Microsoft Teams admin center.
