Getting Ori and the Blind Forest working on Linux
Ori and the blind forest was never released for Linux. However, it doesn’t matter, thanks to Valve’s Proton’s brilliance. You’ll need to install the Steam app to enjoy Ori and the blind forest on your Linux system.
Installing Steam on Linux requires a terminal. To open up a terminal on Linux, press Ctrl + Alt + T on the keyboard. Alternatively, search for “Terminal” in the app menu and launch it that way.
With the terminal window open, the installation can begin. First, install the Steam app on your computer by following the instructions below that correspond with the Linux OS you use.

You’ll need to enable the “multilib” software repository to install Steam on Arch Linux. Open up a text editor (as root) for the /etc/pacman.conf file.
Once the text editor is open, locate the “multilib” line and remove the # symbol. Then, remove the # symbol from the lines directly below. When done, save and enter the pacman -Syy command.
