Install Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread ROM On T-Mobile LG G2X
We have confirmation of an unofficial release of the Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread for the LG T-Mobile G2X. The leak is confirmed to be for the LG G2X and has many developers and casual users are caught up in excitement. We should expect custom ROMs coming out for this device in no time. For now however, the ROM is totally stock. Credits to Android @ Modaco forum member Paul for releasing the leak and XDA-Developers forum member adam_creekroad for a deodexed version of the leaked ROM. Instructions on how to install the ROM after the jump.
The ROM is pre rooted so you wont lose your root access by installing it. However, even though it’s an entirely new ROM, LG has not updated the baseband. There’s not much left to say about it, so let’s get it up and running on your phone!
