How to watch the King’s Man
Kingsman: The Secret Service was easily one of the best movies of 2014 and if you were to watch it now, it would make for a great movie night. The sequel, while not as impressive, is still a fun watch. A popular movie that has a relatively popular sequel is bound to get more sequels or, in this case, a prequel; The King’s Man.

The King’s Man is an origins story. It about how the agency was first created in the early 20th century and given the trailer features Rasputin and the last Czar, we can guess it’s somewhere in 1914 – 1916, which would coincide with the first World War. All things that can make for an interesting plot. The trailer features war so that’s likely the era and a focal point of the movie.
The King’s Man will be released to theater on December 22, 2021.
Watch The King’s Man
The King’s Man hasn’t been released, yet. Once it does, it will have an exclusive theater-only release for at least 45 days. Once the 45 days expire, the movie will be available on select streaming services.
The King’s Man will be available on Disney+ once its exclusive theatrical release is over. It will also likely be available for rent on both iTunes and Amazon Prime. This is based on how other Disney movies have been released, and how soon they were available to stream online.
The King’s Man was originally supposed to be released in September 2020 but like many movies, its release was delayed because theaters were not open at the time. Disney opted to wait rather than release it online which means it’s in no hurry to release it online now. The movie will remain exclusively in theaters for the first 45 days, after which you can expect it to be available for streaming in the US. Outside the US, both the theatrical release and release to streaming services will come later.
The King’s Man is a prequel and it’s set much earlier than both the first two movies so there are no returning cast members from either one. The movie has a new cast, but the same producer so you can expect the movies to have the same fun tone.
Since the movie is releasing near the holiday season, you can expect to find lots of unsafe streaming links for it, or lots of bootlegged versions of the movie. We strongly advise you avoid those and wait for the official release. At worst, your browser may be infected or hijacked, and at best, you’ll end up watching a grainy, poorly shot, poorly lit, and poorly recorded movie.
