Marvel movies have continued to release this year but most releases came in the second half given that theaters weren’t really open before then. Now that theaters are open, Marvel movies have been rolling out and Spider-Man No Way Home is set to release December 17, 2021.

Marvel is part of Disney and all past Marvel movies are available on Disney+. It stands to reason that new Marvel movies will come to Disney+ and you can stream them all online. This is true and given how quickly Black Widow was available online, Spider-Man No Way Home is going to come to Disney+, just not as soon.

In order to stream Spider-Man No Way Home you have to wait 45 days, starting from its release date. The release is set for December 27, 2021 which is when the countdown starts. You can expect the movie to be available on Disney+ by January 31, 2021.
If you’re wondering why you have to wait so long when Black Widow was released much sooner, it has to do with the movie being released exclusively to theaters for 45 days, after which it will be available to stream online. With Black Widow, Disney basically landed itself in a lawsuit by making the movie available online while it was still in theaters. It is not repeating the mistake with Spider-Man No Way Home. The same holds for Eternals and other Marvel movies. Marvel movies will still be coming to Disney+ and it will likely be the first streaming service that will get it.
Once the exclusive theatrical release ends, you can expect the movie to be available on iTunes as well. If you want to watch it on Hulu, you’re going to need a Disney+ subscription.
If you search for an online stream for Spider-Man No Way Home before the 45 day theater release expires, you’re only going to find bootlegged versions of the movie. Not only are those illegal, the quality is the worst. You get the advantage of the screen being blocked by a tall person sitting in front of you all in the comfort of your home.
On that note, the movie is coming out fairly close to the holidays so theaters may be packed (or not) depending on how things are with lock downs in your area. If you plan on waiting for Spider-Man No Way Home to be available on Disney+, try to avoid spoilers. Install an extension if you have to because they will be hard to avoid.
