Stock Market HD: iPad Variant Of The iPhone Stocks App
Although an iPad is truly a multipurpose device, a large portion of its users are related to business and the finance world. There are a lot of iPad apps that let you keep track of all the latest happenings in the stock market, while keeping a close watch on your own portfolio. In iPhone, however, there is a native Stocks app by Apple that can be used to monitor the current market situation with special focus on the shares that are of interest to you. Rather surprisingly, this app is missing on the iPad, where it would have been even more useful. While Apple might have decided to ditch the Stocks app in its tablet, thanks to Stock Market HD, we now have an iPad app that is an almost exact replica of the default Stocks app.
Stock Market HD is pretty customizable, and you can add any index or stock ticker you want to your profile. A few of the stocks are already present in the app’s list, but you can personalize the whole thing by simply hitting the Edit button located in the top left corner of the main screen. Once you enter the editing mode in the app, you will be able to remove any of the existing corporations you are currently following, while also getting the option to add new ones thanks to the ‘+’ button. It is possible to look for new Stocks by putting in an organization’s name or its trading ticker. Once you are done customizing the Stocks list, you don’t have to do anything else in order to start tracking the prices of all the stocks that interest you. The Stocks list shows the price and change in each of the entities you choose to add to your profile, while color-coding is supported as well, to let you know at a glance which stocks are doing well and which ones are not.
If you like the Stocks app on iPhone, then Stock Market HD is a must-have for you, as it provides the same functionality on the iPad. The app is available for free for a limited time.
