Send To Kindle – Push Web Articles From Chrome To Kindle [Extension]
Send to Kindle is a nifty Google Chrome extension for Kindle owners who prefer reading web content on their devices. It’s been designed to offer a quick way for pushing web content to Kindle, so you can read an article or news later on your device. The application requires only Kindle’s email address to send web page over Wi-Fi connection. You can enable intrinsic 1-Click Send option to quickly send the content or choose to register a hotkey for sending and viewing purposes. Furthermore, it can remove images and other junk off from the article, letting users view only most relevant material in plain text.
First off, from settings page, you need to enter Kindle’s email address (free.kindle.com) followed by approving kindle@klip.me from Amazon management page. Here, you can also enable 1-Click Send option and set hotkeys. Detailed instructions for setting it up can be seen at the bottom of the page. When you are done configuring, highlight the content and click tick mark button at top-right corner to get a live preview. Now just click Send to push it to your device over Wi-Fi.
According to the developer, it is being continuously evolved. More features will be furnished upon users’ requests.
