Complete basic tasks on your island to earn nook miles:

Convert nook miles to nook miles ticket:

Tom Nook will give you three houses and their recipe, which you need to construct and place for your new villagers. Scout around the island for suitable plots to position the houses and begin building.
Craft ladder with the received recipe:
While constructing the second house, you will be required to get flowers on cliffs. Tom Nook comes to your aid once more with the recipe for a ladder. With the recipe, you can craft a ladder to climb up and down the cliffs.
Use the ladder to climb:
Finally, you have the climbing tool (ladder). Move to any cliff, select a ladder from your inventory, place the ladder by the base of the cliff, and press A to climb up the ladder. You now have access to inaccessible areas, loots, supplies, and materials. After gathering all the needed materials, press A by the ladder to climb down.
